Out of The Easy - Ruta Sepetys
If you loved Ruta Sepetys Between Shades of Gray and you are expecting Out of Easy to be just like it you will be disappointed.  But if you loved Between Shades of Gray and you loved Ruta Sepetys style of writing you will love Out of Easy.  Josie will capture your heart and make you cheer for her even when you know that it is hopeless.  Everyone needs alittle bit of Willie in their life.
The Next Time You See Me - Holly Goddard Jones
What do a middle school English teacher, a middle aged factory worker, a thirteen year old misfit and the town tramp have in common?  They are all on a collision course that can't have a good resolution.  Each one believes that life owes them more than what they got.  This book had alot of potential but I thought it fell short of reaching it.  It was just an ok read.  Not really one that I would recommend to someone and not one that I will probably remember reading in a month from now.
January First: A Child's Descent into Madness and Her Father's Struggle to Save Her - Michael Schofield
If this book was a novel I probably would have rated it higher.  Since it was a true story, I thought it was just ok.  I found myself not liking Michael very much.  Instead of being united with his wife, I felt that he chose to make it him and Janni against the world.  If this had been a novel I would have been able to get on board with some of the decisions that were made like having another child when there was so much turmoil already in the household.  But since it is a true story it felt like Michael was more worried about himself and what he was losing and going through.  I would like to see how Susan perceived what happened.  As books of this nature go I found it very self serving.
Poison Study - Maria V. Snyder

This book had an almost Hunger Games feel to it. I found myself cheering for Yelena the whole way.  Can't wait to see what is in store for her next.

These Things Hidden - Heather Gudenkauf
I love how the author developed the story slowly.  Letting the reader form a relationship with each character.  The writing style of this author offers the reader a way to ask questions and have those questions answered.

Wonder

Wonder - R.J. Palacio This book should be read by all at least twice. Once when you are a child and again when you are an adult to remind you what it was like to be a child.

4th of July (Women's Murder Club, No 4)

4th of July - Maxine Paetro, James Patterson Glad to be getting back into my James Patterson series. Loved the twist at the end.

The Princess Bride: S. Morgenstern's Classic Tale of True Love and High Adventure

The Princess Bride: S. Morgenstern's Classic Tale of True Love and High Adventure - William Goldman Not really my kind of book. The authors input throughout the story kind of ruined the story for me. I realize that that was part of the satire of the story but it just annoyed me.

The Proposing Tree: A Love Story

The Proposing Tree - James F. Twyman Cute short story of love that waits a life time.

Alex Cross's TRIAL

Alex Cross's Trial (Alex Cross, #15) - James Patterson, Richard DiLallo Not a Alex Cross thriller but a great read.

Cross Country (Alex Cross Novels)

Cross Country - James Patterson The last chapter was the only part of this book that lived up to the Alex Cross legend. Otherwise I found this book kind of lame. American cop goes to a war torn country to hunt down a killer alone and is surprised at the danger and corruption that he finds....lame!

Cross

Cross - James Patterson This one was more of the Alex Cross I know and love.

Mary, Mary

Mary, Mary - James Patterson This one was just so so for me...not really the best of Alex Cross.

London Bridges

London Bridges - James Patterson Welcome back Alex Cross...I have missed you!!!

Blindsighted (Grant County)

Blindsighted - Karin Slaughter This one started off slow at first. I like how the author didn't give all the information about these characters up front. She let discover things as we read. And the ending WOWZA!!

A Hidden Fire: Elemental Mysteries Book 1

A Hidden Fire - Elizabeth Hunter I think I just found my new favorite vampire series. This could be better than BDB series.
